British musician Sir Paul McCartney will finally get that star.

A former member of the legendary Beatles, McCartney is to be honoured with the 2,460<sup>th star of Hollywood's Walk of Fame, on Feb. 9.

The 69-year-old, one of two surviving Beatles, will unveil his latest accolade on Vine Street, outside the Capitol Records Building; the star will be alongside those of the other members of the Beatles - Ringo Starr, John Lennon and George Harrison.

"He was selected in 1993 but never set a date with us. We have been after him for years and one of the execs at Capitol finally got him to agree," a Walk of Fame spokesperson was quoted as saying to WENN.com.

Additionally, McCartney will also be honored as MusiCares' Person of the Year on Feb. 10 and is set to feature alongside other performers like Tony Bennett, Katy Perry, Coldplay and Neil Young.
