Pornhub is getting in the mood for Hanukkah. The same internet porn giant that let us know our neighbours are searching for zombie porn on Halloween and leprechaun porn on St Patrick's Day is now bringing their brand of fun to the holy Jewish holiday.

"While other brands have already spent millions on their seasonal campaigns, we decided to focus our efforts this year on a different holiday in an attempt to be more inclusive in our advertising," Pornhub VP, Corey Price said in a press release.

"We already produced Christmas ads in both 2015 and 2016 so when we realised that no one had created an international ad for Hanukkah in more than 20 years, we thought we'd fill that void and bring some 'oy! to the world' by doing something special for the festival of lights."

Along with a new (safe for work) advert, the company is offering free access to its premium service for the eight days of Hanukkah - from the night of 12 December through to 20 December - for users accessing through this link.

The new advert, produced in collaboration with Madrid-based agency "Officer & Gentleman", features a couple lighting a branch of a menorah before noticing the impressive light display from the house across the street. Rocking snowmen and dreidels flash across the house as the couple react with intrigue.

The advert ends with the lights forming a giant menorah shooting sparks into the sky.

Pornhub claims the site has over three million videos and receives 60 million visitors a day - it also runs an adult community of around four million members. The site recently opened a physical pop-up in the Soho area of New York City which sells sex toys and branded merchandise. It will stay open until 20 December.
