Quantico premiere live stream: Watch Alex Parrish unmask the mastermind behind a major terror attack

ABC's latest thriller involving a terror attack, a bunch of new recruits and their dark past is premiering in the US this Sunday 27 September. Indian actress Priyanka Chopra plays the Alex Parrish -- a rookie with the FBI -- who goes on a mission to find the master mind behind a 9/11-like terror attack and prove herself innocent.

The series begins with Alex Parrish emerging from rubble of what seem like the aftermath of a terrorist plot at the Grand Central Station in Manhattan. She and her fellow trainees are later accused of masterminding the attack. The show will keep switching between the present and past, to bring viewers to date with Parrish's history and the background of the rookies and how they are inter-related with the attack.

The former Miss World's character will have to prove herself innocent and find the guilty before she gets nabbed by the FBI.

The synopsis of Quantico reads as follows: "A Diverse group of recruits has arrived at the FBI Quantico Base for training. They are the best, the brightest and the most vetted, so it seems impossible that one of them is suspected of masterminding the biggest attack on New York City since 9/11."

Speaking about her role, the Bollywood singer/actress told The Post: "She's a little like Jack Bauer — a fugitive on the run, super- smart and intelligent. She's ballsy and bold and badass and yet, at the same time, she's feminine and vulnerable and [is] a celebration of female empowerment."

The highly anticipated series will air in India almost immediately after its US telecast, on Star World and Star World HD.
