They are yet to confirm their relationship, but rumoured new couple Rupert Murdoch and Jerry Hall were the picture of happiness at the Rugby World Cup 2015 final on Saturday. The pair were seen watching the sporting event from the stands together, prompting many to believe they were going public as an item.

Murdoch, 84, and Hall, 59, were seen arriving at Twickenham Stadium on 31 October wearing matching scarves in support of the media mogul's country of birth, Australia, who were facing off with New Zealand. Unfortunately, the Wallabies lost to the All Blacks, but Murdoch was in good spirits and was even seen planting a kiss on the former model's cheek.

A source claims that while their romance is in its early days, the new couple could not be happier with each other. The source told the Mirror: "Rupert is smitten. He's very happy because she makes him laugh and they get along so well. They're having a great time together."

Reports of the couple's relationship emerged in The Mail On Sunday in October, with a friend of Murdoch's telling the publication: "It's all very new. They are really enjoying each other's company very much. He is very fond of her. There is no question that they are a couple." The publication claims the pair met in Australia when Hall was introduced to the billionaire media tycoon by one of his sisters and a niece.

Since their initial meeting, Murdoch and Hall are said to have spent time together in California and New York, where they reportedly enjoyed a date night watching the Hamilton musical on Broadway.

It is believed to be Murdoch's first public romance since the end of his 14 year-marriage to third wife Wendi Deng in 2013. Hall is known for her relationship with Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger, with whom she shares four children from their 22-year union.
