Sony's next Xperia series flagship will have one more variant dubbed as Xperia Z4 Music, suggests a new disclosure.

So far what has been rumoured is that the next flagship addition to Sony' Xperia line-up will have a few variants such as Xperia Z4 Compact, Z4 Ultra and Z4 Tablet. But it looks like a Walkman smartphone will also join them.

iGeek via GSM Dome has posted a couple of photo renders of the Walkman based Sony Xperia Z4 Music. The posting also reveals the hardware specifications of the upcoming smartphone. As for the audio capability, the Z4 Music is a high resolution Walkman portable Music smartphone which supports high resolution audio playback of DSD, WAV, AIFF, ALAC, FLAC and more formats.

The listing further suggests that the new Xperia smartphone will use a powerful battery that will last up to two days. Besides, there will be S-Force PRO Front surround speaker with S-Master digital amplifier technology.

In terms of hardware specifications, the Z4 Music will pack a 4in Triluminos IPS display with resolution measuring 1440 x 720 pixels. There will be an eight megapixel Exmor RS CMOS sensor with 1080p video recording capability. The 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor will be the power house of the smartphone. The device will have 3GB RAM and 32GB built-in storage.

The smartphone will measure 109mm length by 49.9mm width by 8.9mm thickness. The 32GB model will weigh 133.5gm whereas the 128GB model will be just 5gm heavier at 138.5gm. the 32GB Z4 Music will come in only black colour whereas users will have a range of options for the 128GB model which will come in silvery, purple, gold and green. A 2000mAh powered battery will be inside the smartphone.

Sony is expected to unveil the Xperia Z4 at the 2015 MWC event in Barcelona.
