In the seventh instalment of the highly popular space opera, the space scavenger had a huge showdown with Kylo during her quest to find Luke Skywalker, who had gone into a self-imposed exile after his Jedi training failed and his nephew Ben Solo turned towards the Dark Side.

However, the mighty Kylo couldn't resist the Force created by Rey and was separated from her within a fissure. Later, she located the isolated island where Luke had taken refuge. According to the Reddit leak: "Rey is the reincarnation of Anakin Skywalker."

The leak also revealed that at the first Jedi temple, the spirit of the chosen one is reincarnated "every time the universe is thrown out of balance". And hence, Rey came to the universe as the result of a virgin birth. Though she is unaware of how extremely powerful she is with the Force, Luke will sense it.

The Reddit user also mentioned that Rey will speculate Luke to be her father and will, in fact, ask him the question but he will refuse her theory by saying: "No, you are my father."

The leaked script also talks about the backstory that threw the galactic peace out of the track and why Rey was raised in the deserted planet of Jakku. It claims Supreme Leader Snoke seduced Kylo towards the Dark Side and ordered him to kill Luke and his people. However, the former Jedi master saved some of his people and one of them was Rey, whom he dropped at the planet to keep her safe.

The alleged script leak, however, doesn't talk much about Finn and Poe Dameron but it does talk about The Republic's interim leader Lord Vikram (played by Benecio Del Toro).

Star Wars: Episode VIII is being directed by Rian Johnson and is scheduled to premiere on 15 December 2017.
