TLC's 'CrazySexyCool' Biopic
The biopic elaborates on focuses on TLC's rise to fame and elaborates on their behind the scenes episodes.

TLC's highly anticipated biopic has received rave reviews following its premiere on VH1.

The film, which charters the rise and fall of the top-selling 90s girlband was branded a hit by fans, stars and even film critics.

Keke Palmer and Lil Mama and Drew Sidora who played TLC's members Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas, the late Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopes and Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins respectively were applauded for outstanding performances.

One fan said: "Bravo @LilMama @Drewsidora @KekePalmer. Wonderful acting, dancing & they looked gorgeous. Ima watch this a 2nd time."

Being Mary Jane star Gabrielle Union tweeted: "Just finished watchin #CrazySexyCool #TLC. Those girls did work. Lil Mama, Keke, & Drew, great job! TLC still gives me life :)".

"Thank you #TLC for making this tomboy comfortable in her skin," Keri Hilson said.

Next year will mark the 20th anniversary of TLC's landmark album CrazySexyCool.

The VH1 biopic follows the girls' early beginnings in Atlanta, their rise to fame in the 1990s, the turmoil of their fame and the tragic death of Lopes in a car accident in 2002.

Surviving members T-Boz and Chilli served as executive producers on the film.

Pivotal moments in the film include Watkins' battle with sickle-cell anaemia, Lopes' infamous arson of then-boyfriend Andre Rison's home, and the group's very public bankruptcy case.
