The Two British journalists, Nicholas Davies-Jones and Gareth Montgomery-Johnson, who were accused of spying, and detained in Tripoli for more than a month, have been released today and are on their way home.

Arriving at Tripoli airport the pair looked healthy if tired.

The two men were taken captive by the Swehli brigade, one of dozens of militias which last year helped force out Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi.
