Alex's meeting with Simon doesn't go well in episode 14 Answered ABC

Quantico season 1 killed off Natalie Vasquez, a major character and key rival to Alex Parrish, but that is just the beginning of the end as episode 14 will feature some shocking moments between the FBI agent and her former fellow agent Simon Asher.

A sneak peek released by ABC reveals Will, the robotic NAT, follows Caleb Haas to an apartment where Caleb changes his appearance and poses as Mark Reymond before a mysterious person during a video call.

The show's executive producer Josh Safran hinted that Caleb's mystery will play a major role in the series.

"It is a mystery that's going to continue to unfold, and you will learn your first big clue in episode 15. It's mentioned a little bit next week," he told EW.

The official synopsis of episode 14 titled Answered reads: At Quantico, the NATS team is up for defensive driving lessons while tensions between Liam and Drew explode, resulting in shocking admissions and consequences. In the future, Simon grapples with his new reality in the aftermath of what's transpired. Even though his friends try and help him, it's uncertain he will ever be the same again.

Alex, who firmly believes that the real bomber is still inside the FBI bureau, is in a critical situation. She goes to meet Simon but the episode promo reveals that their meeting might turn bloody.

When everyone around you could be a traitor, you better watch your back.

"It's important for Alex to get to this place, because she really is up against [the terrorist] in a way that she hasn't been before. When you're on the run, there's always the hope that you won't be caught or you'll feel it'll all work itself out, but this is the first time Alex is realizing it won't work itself out at all, and there's going to be a price to pay. ... That was a dark day for [Priyanka Chopra], to be in that headspace all day," Safran told the website regarding Alex's fate in the series.
