A teenager who has been working as a Taylor Swift impersonator was reportedly beaten up by a student at her college due to jealousy over her resemblance to the country crooner.

Xenna Kristian, a student at Walford and North Shropshire College in England, claimed she is suffering from a suspected broken jaw and head injuries following the attack.

"Some girls at college had started making nasty comments, but it escalated really quickly," the 18-year-old said, "The girl came up behind me and dragged me off my chair by my pony tail, then started kicking me in the face. It just came as a complete shock."

"I tried to get her off me but my friends had to help. The teachers didn't do anything," she added, "I never expected anything like this to happen. It's not nice to see people being nasty about you. Since I started being a lookalike people have been saying stuff. They must be jealous that I'm going off to do something with my life. Nothing like this has ever happened to me before. I still feel shaken up."

Kristian is now waiting for the injuries on her face to heal, so that she can get back to work.

"I've had to cancel three appearances just from this week, and I won't be able to do any more until the bruising goes," she said said.

She recently told the Shropshire Star that after Swift dumped One Direction singer Harry Styles, earlier this year, people would approach her on the street to blame her for the breakup.

"One day I was shopping in Liverpool and somebody walked past and suddenly stopped and said 'oh my God'. They actually thought I was Taylor Swift," she said, adding, "Most people are really nice but I do get young girls shouting at me 'leave Harry alone'."
