Perrie Edwards is not a fan of Zayn Malik's new song. The 23-year-old singer released Pillow Talk on 29 January 2016, which features the model Gigi Hadid.
In the song's music video, the former One Direction star shared steamy kisses with the 20-year-old model, whom he is rumoured to be dating. A source told Hollywood Life: "Perrie has seen the video and has mixed emotions."
"It's just weird for her watching Zayn with Gigi in the video when the song was really inspired by Perrie's relationship with him," the insider added. "Of course, she's happy for him, but in all honesty watching the video makes her kind of sad."
Edwards and Malik started dating in December 2011 after meeting on the sets of The X Factor. They got engaged in August 2013 and were reportedly planning to get married at Disneyland Paris in June 2015.
In an interview with You magazine, Edwards had revealed that she is doing great after the split and admitted that she was using Instagram to meet men. Edwards said: "I'm single and ready to mingle!"
Speaking about the breakup, Edwards said: "It was a hard time. But we're having so much fun as a band and I've got my three girls. I'm so thankful I've got this lot. I didn't think our love could get any stronger."
"That sounds so cheesy, but we are like sisters – I can tell them anything. I can cry on their shoulders whenever. It could be four o'clock in the morning and I can ring them and go to their room," she stressed.
