Internet sleuths on Reddit have ignited a firestorm by allegedly uncovering a secret Instagram account linked to the singer and her close friend, Courtney Chipolone. The account, which has since been deleted, reportedly featured a collection of unsettling images and disturbing captions that have left fans and critics alike questioning the star's private psyche.

The Secret Food Account Shared On Reddit

Speculation reached a fever pitch on the r/LAinfluencersnark subreddit, where users detailed the contents of an inactive account allegedly co-run by Grande. The profile featured a series of photographs depicting "disturbing" vegan meals and what some described as "food checks."

However, it was the captions that caused the most significant stir. Based on the shared screenshots, the posts were peppered with aggressive and hyper-sexualised language.

One post was an empty red bowl with a matching Chinese soup spoon. While it appears harmless, the caption that goes along with it isn't. 'Eat my soup --> f*** ur man,' the caption reads.

Another snap features a square saucer with what appears to be leftover fish sauce. 'Hide ur mans,' the caption read. A separate post, shared two weeks later, featured a plate of leftover Arroz Amarillo, with another unsettling description: 'in my hole.'

The posts were from 2017, and some fans claimed they were familiar because they had seen similar posts from Grande at the time. However, the account was deleted shortly after fans began discussing it online.

'This is Legit'

The reaction to the exposure has been polarised, but a significant portion of the online community believes the account was 'legit.' Among those who were convinced, claimed they knew Grande had secret accounts, and that the posts about food aligned with the singer-actress' habit.

'I was deep in the fan pages and this is legit she def had a couple secret accounts,' one commented. Another Reddit user, who followed Grande on Tumblr, noted that 'she posted about food a lotttt.'

Discussions have since evolved into theories that Grande maintains an entire network of "finstas" or alt accounts to interact with both fans and haters. One Reddit user claimed to have seen a private group chat where it was mentioned that Grande occasionally responds to negative comments under an alias to make the original poster 'look stupid.'

Some defenders argue that the account could be a dedicated fan's elaborate hoax, but its immediate deletion has made most observers sceptical of such a defence.
