Hollywood heartthrob George Clooney has reportedly split from his wrestler girlfriend Stacy Keibler.
The 52-year-old Oscar-winning actor and the 33-year-old Supermarket Superstar host were together for nearly two years.
"Stacy called it quits. She wants to have children and a family someday," an insider told People, "She knows where George stands on that. They talked and they quietly stopped being a couple several weeks ago."
"They talk every day. They were friends before they started dating and they'll be friends after. It was a friendly [breakup]," the source added.
Reports that the couple had called time on their romance sparked after they spent the 4 July holiday apart. Clooney was spotted with friends at his Italian villa on Lake Como, while Keibler partied in Los Angeles at a bash thrown by top Hollywood manager Guy Oseary.
"They haven't seen each other in a while and they've both been working so much, so in recent months, they've started growing apart," another source told the magazine.
Keibler had previously revealed that she likes to keep her personal life out of the public eye, especially about her relationship with Clooney.
"It's really not anyone's business. A personal life is a personal life," Keibler said in an interview with ESPN last year, "I know there has to be a happy medium being in the public eye. You just have to remember not to give everything to everybody."
Clooney who was previously married to actress Talia Balsam, has also been romantically linked to Kelly Preston, British model Lisa Snowdon, cocktail waitress Sarah Larson and model and TV presenter Elisabetta Canalis.
