Paris Jackson, the daughter of late pop legend Michael Jackson posted a picture with her birth mother Debbie Rowe, while on vacation in Hawaii for Christmas.
The 15-year-old, who is the second of the King of Pop's three children, captioned the picture on Instagram: "Momma :)"
According to Radar Online, Rowe spent Christmas Eve & day with Paris. The two have spent significant time together during the teenager's break from school.
Paris was reunited with Rowe on her 15th birthday in April, which garnered a lot of criticism. Rowe, the nurse and assistant of Michael Jackson's dermatologist Dr Arnold Klein, was married to the King of Pop from 1996 to 1999. She is the mother of both Paris and her brother Prince, but gave up parental rights, which were transferred to Jackson in 2001.
Paris later attempted suicide on 5 June. She was reported to have slashed her wrists and downed a significant amount of painkillers. Following that, she was enrolled in the $10m Diamond Ranch Academy in Utah: a secluded treatment centre for 12 to 18-year-olds that specialises in depression and grief management.
"She is in a good place, getting the help she needs. She is doing much better," her grandmother Katherine Jackson told reporters. "The treatment is going good, really good. She's my baby. It's hard for me, really hard. All I want these kids to be is happy."
