What is the LX Hammer? Inside the $180 Viral Burger at Super Bowl LX
The viral $180 burger for Super Bowl LX and this year's game day menu

Part of the festivities related to the Super Bowl is the food, with many fans preparing indulgent culinary fare. Super Bowl LX is no different, as a burger made for the occasion has made the rounds on the internet called the LX Hammer.
The LX Hammer is the viral burger created to celebrate Super Bowl LX, the final showdown between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks. Created by Levy Restaurants, the LX Hammer is being sold at a steep $180 (£132) and has become part of the viral dishes served at Super Bowls over the years. This massive burger weighs 3.5 pounds and is likely intended to be shared between four people.
Internet Reacts to Pricey Burger
A post on X showing off the burger has led to netizens criticising the price as well as the richness of the food. Even the official Wendy's account commented on the post.
'I'd pay 200 to get it away from me', said the Wendy's account, which also made a follow-up comment: 'On a practical level how do you eat this?'
'Even if I was the richest man in the world, I ain't paying anyone 200 bucks for a cheeseburger!' said another commenter.
'Is this supposed to serve four people?' said a third.
'If you eat that in the first quarter, you'll be asleep for the rest of the game', another added.
Here it is, folks.

What's In the LX Hammer Super Bowl Burger?
The ingredients of the LX Hammer should give fans and foodies an idea of why this unique Super Bowl burger costs what it does. The viral LX Hammer is made of a juicy cheeseburger patty along with a slow-cooked braised bone-in beef shank, a roasted mirepoix demi-glace to add a deep and savoury flavour, and Point Reyes bleu cheese fondue melted all over the sides. The dish is served on a brioche bun, with the bone from the beef shank staying on.
Another reason why the LX Hammer comes with a hefty price tag is because only 200 burgers are being made throughout the sporting event. The Super Bowl Tax also tends to add to the already steep price tag of this burger that is viral for its size and visibility.
It's beautiful.
