The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived in Malaysia today on the second leg of their Diamond Jubilee tour in Asia Pacific to celebrate the 60th anniversary of reign of Queen Elizabeth II.

Prince William and his wife Catherine will stay in Malaysia's capital Kuala Lumpur for two days, visiting Hospis Malaysia, a children's hospice, where The Duchess is expected to make her first overseas speech.

Then, it is onto a visit to a rainforest reserve in Sabah state on Borneo Island, where the couple will meet with the Malaysian King Abdul Mu'adzam and the Prime Minister Najib Razak.

This is the first visit from British royals to Malaysia in 14 years. The last visit was made by Queen Elizabeth II in September 1998.
