American actress and singer Selena Gomez has opened up about her former boyfriend, Canadian pop star Justin Bieber. In an interview with Elle, the former Disney star talked about her relationship with the Baby hitmaker.

"I'll forever support him and love him in a way that.... We grew up together. I think people want it to be different," she said. "We're too young for that. Nobody was married. There was no.... I respect him. And I think he respects me, in a healthy manner."

After splitting with the Boyfriend hitmaker, the 23-year-old Come And Get It singer has been linked with a number of celebrities including Russian-German music producer/DJ Zedd. Rumours that Gomez and the 25-year-old, whose real name is Anton Zaslavski, are dating started after they were spotted getting close at the Golden Globes after-party. She also posed for photographers, resting her head on Zedd's shoulder.

"Finding somebody is not my main focus. I've dated people. I've been on a few dates, which is really exciting. But I've never wanted to get into anything serious, because I kind of did that. I have my guard up. I like to meet people in organic settings. Hanging out with a group of people and meeting through mutual people," Gomez added.

During American Music Awards 2014, Gomez got emotional while performing her single The Heart Wants What it Wants. She revealed to the magazine why she shed tears during her performance.

"Everybody was talking about the same thing: my relationship. I was so exhausted," she said. "I said, I want this [performance] to be the last time I have to talk about this. And acknowledge this feeling. I was kind of devastated. I was like, This is all I have right now. This is gonna be it. And all I want is to move on. It was a huge weight lifted off me."
