Academy Award winners, losers and A-listers celebrated Hollywood's biggest night at Vanity Fair's annual Oscars after-party in Beverly Hills. The unprecedented error that saw Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway award the night's top prize to La La Land – only to learn they'd made a mistake and present it to actual winner Moonlight – dominated the chat at the party.

The party is keenly watched by the fashion crowd, as many celebrities wear different outfits from the ones they wore on the red carpet earlier in the evening. Emma Stone, who won best actress for La La Land, had changed into something more casual, accessorised by the blue American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) ribbon. After 2016's Oscars so White controversy, this year's awards were more diverse, with supporting acting wins for Mahershala Ali in Moonlight and Viola Davis in Fences. Best actor winner Casey Affleck arrived with Manchester by the Sea director Kenneth Lonergan, who won best original screenplay award.
