'It's done' and it's most likely one of the fastest divorce settlements in Tinseltown history – and all without a courtroom battle – so far anyway. For Hollywood 'A' list actors, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes all their smiley, hand-holding on the red carpet together is over. They've reached an agreement of who gets what and how much, within two weeks of officially announcing their split! Apparently Tom is 'really pleased' and Katie wants to get on with the 'next chapter of her life'. And naturally, she wants sole custody of their 6-year-old daughter, Suri.

We reckon the 'speedy' decision was to try and put a lid on all the goss flying around about Katie not wanting to be part of one of Cruise's other big passions, the Church of Scientology!

Celeb commentators were secretly hoping some long-running tit-for-tat spats, but instead they got this.A joint statement saying: "We are committed to working together as parents to accomplishing what is in our daughter Suri's best interests. We want to keep matters affecting our family private and express our respect for each other's commitment to each of our respective beliefs, and support each other's roles as parents". Mmmm.

Let's do the maths, if you take into account that 50-year-old Cruise is the highest paid actor in Hollywood (Forbes said he scooped up $75m - that's just over £48m - alone last year). Compare that to Leonardi di Caprio's measly $38m. And you give or take any pre-nup put in place before they got hitched five years ago, then well…we're sure you can work out the mind-boggling millions of dollars that Katie might be in line for, all for yourself!
