Thor and Hulk's fight sequence was one of the major highlights of The Avengers (2012). The punch-up was left incomplete with some of Shield's fighter jets playing spoilsport. But now fans might get to see another square off between the two superheroes in Marvel's upcoming Thor 3. Actor Chris Hemsworth was asked recently who he thinks will win in the next fight between the two Avengers.

"I'd like to think I let him win last time, but because this movie is called Thor, I have to win this time," Hemsworth told the New York Daily News while promoting his new film In the Heart of the Sea. The actor did not reveal any detail on how Hulk's alter ego — Bruce Banner — fits into the Thor 3 plot but he did talk about sharing screen space with actor Mark Ruffalo (via ComicBookMovie).

"I hope it's a Butch Cassidy [and the Sundance Kid] sort of story," he said, referring to the popular 1969 buddy western. "That would be fun. I love Mark. I think those two characters haven't spent a whole lot of time talking to each other on screen (so far in the Marvel movies), so it's something new, I think it would bring something different out of the characters. It's hard to have a conversation with the Hulk."

In an earlier interview, Ruffalo also spoke about his role in Thor 3 and teased some interesting dynamics among the two Avengers and the beloved villain, Loki. "I don't know what the story is yet, but it'll be (Loki) and Thor, and then I'll be in there here and there. I've talked to Taika [Thor 3 director Taika Waititi] a little bit and I like where it's headed," the actor told USA Today.

Thor: Ragnarok is slated to release on 3 November, 2017.
