US talk show host Wendy Williams has provoked fresh controversy after claiming that Kim Kardashian is grooming her 18-month-old daughter to walk in her hyper-sexualised footsteps.

The TV personality blasted the reality star while discussing her nude shoot for Paper magazine during her Hot Topics segment.

Speaking about the now infamous bare bottom snap, which 'broke the internet', Williams claimed that fans shouldn't worry about Kardashian setting a good example for daughter as she is probably already training her little girl to do the same.

"A lot of people are like she's a mother why is she still doing stuff like that? I look at it and say, 'Well North is being groomed to do the same thing...so to North this is going to be a big deal in terms of looking up to her mom,'" she said.

Williams also took a swipe at Kardashian's marriage, claiming that rather that deter his wife rapper Kanye West probably encouraged her to take her clothes off and even supervised the shoot.

"I look at it say, 'Well you're somebody's wife now.' But I get it, cause Kanye was probably in the corner [clapping] talking about Yaaass! Yaaaas Hunty! Pose Girl!"

"What kind of man will put his already successful wealthy and popular wife in a position like this?" she added.

Her remarks provoked a strong response from fans and the online community. While some agreed with her, others claimed that discussing a child was one step too far.

"Leave baby North alone. You are not God to decide her fate," one fan said.

Although the couple have not responded to Williams' comments, West previously expressed his approval by tweeting the racy shoot using the simple caption "#ALLDAY"
