Brandon Willington's Story and Vision

Brandon Willington

Brandon Willington's story highlighted a transformation in business strategy and personal philosophy, summarised by the Debt to Eight Figures! tagline.

Before entering marketing, Brandon worked as a DJ in a Perth nightclub. After becoming interested in Facebook ads, he opened a traditional marketing agency. While this agency pulled in a respectable $100k/mo in revenue, he struggled with overhead costs and mounting debt that eventually piled up to $300,000.

That's when Brandon reinvented his business as Where U?, shifting to a new approach that increased revenue to $2m/mo and established a 25% profit margin, instead of acting as a traditional agency, Where U? offers founders the core know-how on doing their own marketing.

To make marketing accessible, Brandon distilled all advertising down to the Three C's and his ten core principles. The three C's are the basic mechanics of digital marketing – clicks, conversion, close.

His principles provide a simple, digestible overview of different aspects of marketing theory. Brandon conveyed that founders can successfully do marketing themselves.

The cost-savings appeal of working without agency overhead is obvious, but Brandon described it as only one pillar of the Where U? strategy. Another pillar is that founders best understand their customers and know how to appeal to them.

Lastly, he highlighted how this customer understanding drives more efficient marketing approaches, without the time-consuming funnel development and endless testing that characterise agency operations.

Brandon also promoted his upcoming book, 'F*ck Your Agency,'which takes a deep dive into these ideas. The book releases on September 25, 2026.

The Rest of the Night

After the keynote, Brandon joined a panel of five other judges for a live Q&A. After half an hour of answering questions as part of the Business Growth in 2026 panel, the event moved into pitch night. The event pitted six startups against each other for the night's big prize: a one-on-one with Brandon and $2000 in press from Growthpoint PR.

While all competitors impressed the judges, only one could win. This honour went to Izzy Mintus of euforma, a fashion tech startup that serves as an intelligent layer that guarantees a good fit in fashion e-commerce. Ill-fitting clothes drive up to 40% of returns in online clothing sales; euforma promises to make this problem vanish and 'make fit euphoric.'

Afterwards, the night settled into a silent auction of exclusive, signed sports memorabilia. The charity winnings went to the Peabody Community Foundation, which provides housing and training opportunities to youth.

After a final hour and a half of networking, the event closed at 10 PM. One lucky founder left with a 1-on-1 with Brandon on her calendar, and a local charity left with the resources to do good.

All 200+ entrepreneurs went home with new lessons and fresh connections among Britain's best.
