The newly released Jeffrey Epstein files just turned messier after several big names in the music industry were dragged into the controversy. Rihanna, Jay-Z, and Lady Gaga are just some of the few whose names are mentioned in the documents. Before diving deeper into how Lady Gaga's name was tied to Epstein, it is imperative to remember that the files released by the DOJ are still unverified.

As of writing, there is no proof that Lady Gaga and Epstein were ever friends or that they even met each other in person. Years ago, rumours also swirled that Gaga has blood ties to Epstein's good friend, Ghislaine Maxwell. These claims have already been debunked, but the Shallow singer is once again part of the argument.

Did Lady Gaga Invite Jeffrey Epstein to ARTPOP?

Over the weekend, a screenshot of an email sent to Lesley Groff circulated online. It came from a sender whose name has been blurred out due to privacy reasons. The email sender is thanking Groff for arranging their visit that day. There was also a mention of someone named Jeff.

'Jeff Koons would like to invite you to the Lady Gaga ARTPOP release party this coming Sunday, November 10th. Please RSVP to this address. We will provide the details for the evening upon receiving your RSVP,' the rest of the email read. On X, user PopHubOfficial claimed that Epstein actively tried to pursue Gaga for many years, but the singer never reciprocated. 'The financier attempted to contact her several times during the ARTPOP era and showed interest in the Born This Way Foundation but got ignored by Gaga and her team who never replied to Jeffrey's emails,' the post read.

Jeffrey Epstein tried to meet Lady Gaga various times during the ARTPOP era. She always refused any of his requests.

Netizens React to Unfounded Claims

On Facebook, several users reacted to the email and said that the invitation did not come from Gaga herself but from Koons. So, there is no proof that Gaga even knew that Koons had plans to invite Epstein to the ARTPOP release party in 2013.

'Is there any proof anywhere of this claim in the post that Gaga repeatedly turned him down?? I am not asking about what people think or feel, but are there any facts available? I understand that Gaga's name is on the list that was formerly circulating, that seemed to be an address book, altho I dont know,' one person wrote.

'I'm kind of confused by these emails. It's an invitation to Art Pop. Clearly, it's not from Lady Gaga. Thanks,' another person commented.

'What are these people trying to do to her? She didn't invite him,' another social media user remarked.

Other Big Names Tied to Epstein

Other than Gaga, Rihanna is also being dragged into the newly released Epstein files. There are rumours that she phoned Epstein sometime in 2014 after a missed call from someone with the same name was shared online. However, there is also no proof that Rihanna even knew Epstein in the first place.

Just like Gaga and Rihanna, other celebrities being linked to Epstein include Jay-Z, Madonna, and Kanye West. Other key personalities include Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, Sarah Ferguson, and Mick Jagger.
