A handful of Samsung Galaxy devices have grabbed the spotlight recently, as a spate of rumours concerning the leaked specifications of the devices has surfaced online. The rumours gain precedence as the South Korean company prepares for its Premiere event to be held in London on 20 June.

The latest rumours suggest that the London-based event could see the launch of one or more Galaxy S4 variants including the S4 Zoom and S4 Active, besides a couple of new tablet variants in the Galaxy Tab series, namely the Tab 3 8.0 and the Tab 3 10.1. A couple of leaked photos have now surfaced, which fuel further speculation about the release of next-gen Galaxy Tab devices at the upcoming London Premiere.

The leaked photos show that the 8in tablet sports extremely thin bezels in comparison to its 8in Note counterpart. As Android Geeks notes, the Tab 3 8.0 is reminiscent of the iPad Mini.

The 8in and 10.1in tablets now join the Galaxy Tab 3 family, which already includes the 7in variant. The Tab 3 10.1 powered by the latest Intel processor is speculated to be the new flagship device from Samsung.

The leaked specifications suggest that the 8in variant is 6.95mm thick at its terminal point, while the 10.1in variant measures 7.95mm and weighs about 500 grams.

The 8in tablet will feature a TFT LCD display running at a native resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels and powered by a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. It is expected to ship with 1.5GB of RAM and a five-megapixel rear camera.

As Reuters reports, the 10.1in tablet is speculated to come with a full HD display and powered by a dual-core Intel Atom processor, which is based on the Clover Trail+ family. On the contrary, another rumour hints that the Tab 3 10.1 will not offer full HD display, but instead will ship with a 720p display with a resolution of 1280 x 700.

The other leaked specifications suggest the 10.1in tablet comes in two storage variants, namely 16 and 32GB. The tablet is also available in two base variants based on connectivity options: 3G and Wi-Fi only. Further, the tablet is expected to ship with 1GB of RAM and run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box. It includes a 13 mega-pixel rear camera (similar to the Galaxy S4) and a three-megapixel front camera for video calls. Given its power-packed hardware, a powerful 6800mAh battery is said to power the tablet.

In related news, the Galaxy S4 Zoom specifications are out and the recent invite sent by Samsung hints that the smartphone could actually see the light of day at the upcoming grand Premiere event in London. The leak report reveals that the smartphone will feature a 4.3in Super AMOLED display with a native resolution of 540 x 960 pixels and run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.

The Zoom will be powered by a dual-core processor clocked at 1.6 GHz and ship with 8GB of internal storage with support for microSD expansion. It is said to sport a powerful 16 megapixel rear camera with 10x optical zoom and a 1.9 megapixel front camera for video calls.

Its connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 LTE and a microUSB 2.0. The lack of 4G LTE network support could be a major drawback for the device. The handset will be powered by a 1,900mAh battery.
