Brendan Rodgers will be hoping Liverpool could bounce back from the 3-1 shock defeat to Hull City at the KC Stadium in the last league fixture. Jake Livermore opened the scoring for Steve Bruce's side before Steven Gerrard equalised from the spot kick before half hour mark.

However, David Meyler's second half strike followed by Martin Skrtel's own goal saw the Merseyside club suffer their first ever defeat against the Tigers. The former Swansea manager would be looking for nothing less than a victory against Norwich.

The Canaries come into this game after their 1-0 win over Crystal Palace with Gary Hooper's goal ain the 30<sup>th minute the difference between the two sides. Chris Hughton has seen his side register two wins in the last five games played in all competitions while they have conceding 11 goals in two games against Manchester United and Manchester City.

In the last five away games played in all competitions Norwich have managed only one win and Hughton would be looking for a moral-boosting victory against the Reds on Wednesday evening. Liverpool are fourth in the table with 24 points while the visitors are 14<sup>th with 14 points.

Brendan Rodgers: "Daniel could be out now for up to eight weeks, which will be a big blow to us. This little period now will test us. We've got players that will come in and it's a great opportunity for them to stake a claim for a place in the team."

Chris Hughton: "It is not only us. It seems like Suarez is putting everyone to the sword at the moment because he is a super player. You have to have be on your game because he is as good as there is and we are talking about one of the top strikers in the country. When he is on his day, Suarez is very difficult to handle."
