Where to Watch Live

Overview
Manuel Pellegrini's side suffered a shock 1-0 defeat at the hands of Sunderland at the Stadium of Light before the international break, with Phil Bardsley scoring the only goal of the game in the first half.
City's results have been awful away from home this season while their home form has been impressive, having won all five league games played at the Etihad. This run needs to continue if City are to stay in touch with the pack at the top of the Premier League.

City's north London opponents had a similar result before the international break, losing 1-0 to Newcastle United at White Hart Lane to a brilliant Loic Remy strike.
Spurs have won only two of their last five games, with the remaining fixtures ending in two defeats and a draw. They sit seventh in the league table with 20 points from 11 games while City are ninth, one point behind Spurs.
What the Managers Say
Manuel Pellegrini: "It is a tough match. I think they are a very good team. They have good players and play very good football. If we want to continue winning at home we need to play a very good game. I think it is a special Premier League this year. There are six or seven teams within four or five points. We will see what happens in the future."
Andre Villas-Boas: "My philosophy is to play the game and try to win it. Sometimes it comes at a cost because instead of drawing you can end up losing but I would prefer to try win the game so that is our strategy. We will try to attack, to try to create more chances than the opponent. That is the way I have approached games and I would like to continue like that."
