Nicki Minaj went after Chrissy Teigen hours after the model was spotted laughing at a joke about the rapper during the 68th Grammy Awards. The 43-year-old, who skipped the ceremony entirely, posted on X claiming Teigen was transgender: 'Everyone knows Chrissy Tiegan has/had a dik. Allegedly.'

The attack came after host Trevor Noah mocked Minaj's absence during his opening monologue at Los Angeles' Crypto.com Arena on 1 February. He joked that she was still at the White House with Donald Trump discussing important issues, then launched into an impression of the president, according to People.

Teigen, 40, was in the audience with her husband John Legend. Cameras caught her waving and giving a thumbs-up during Noah's bit. That was enough to set Minaj off.

Teigen Stays Silent As Social Media Erupts

Teigen hasn't responded. She deleted her X account years ago after relentless harassment and couldn't reply there even if she wanted to. Her representatives and the Grammys have stayed quiet.

The transgender claims are baseless conspiracy theories that have bounced around far-right corners of the internet for years. Teigen has been a frequent target, often dragged into QAnon fever dreams that falsely link her and Legend to various crimes, Rolling Stone reported. She's called the harassment 'insanity' and 'harrowing'.

Why Minaj Was The Punchline

Noah was poking at Minaj's newfound love for Donald Trump. Days earlier, she'd called herself 'probably the president's No. 1 fan' at the Trump Accounts Summit in Washington on 28 January, telling the crowd that the backlash only made her want to support him more, Sportskeeda said.

The Trinidad-born rapper also said she'd received a Trump gold card and hinted her citizenship papers were coming. Fans haven't been thrilled with the political pivot.

Minaj wasn't nominated this year. Her meltdown played out while the ceremony celebrated Kendrick Lamar passing Jay-Z as the most decorated rapper in Grammy history.

Bad Blood Goes Back Years

Teigen and Minaj have clashed before. Back in 2016, when Minaj was feuding with Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham, Teigen jumped in and stirred the pot on social media, The Mirror reported.

They were never close. But Sunday took things somewhere darker. Minaj pushing conspiracy theories to her millions of followers is a different animal entirely.

Noah And Lizzo Got It Too

Teigen wasn't Minaj's only target that night. She accused Noah of hiding his sexuality, mocked Lizzo's weight and album sales, and posted about satanic rituals and child sacrifice - the usual QAnon greatest hits, according to the Express Tribune.

Users fired back. Many brought up the criminal records of Minaj's husband and brother, both registered sex offenders. One reply didn't mince words: 'Your husband is a sex offender. Not allegedly.'

Minaj's post about Teigen has racked up over five million views and 100,000 likes. She kept posting political takes through the night and hasn't let up since.
