In an X post, Minaj claimed that 'everyone in the industry' is aware of Noah's sexuality and even alluded to a 'secret boyfriend.'

The controversy has since intensified after a TikTok video resurfaced and went viral. It was a video of Noah waiting at the crosswalk with a mystery man in the street when a creator approached and filmed him.

Furthermore, social media users have been quick to speculate that the companion in the footage is the partner Minaj mentioned.

During Noah's Grammys monologue, the South African comedian aimed at Minaj who was noticeably absent at the awards night. The comedian joked about the rapper's recent headlines.

He said, 'Nicki Minaj is not here,' adding, 'She is still at the White House with Donald Trump discussing very important issues.'

Noah continued his bit imitating US president Donald Trump: 'Actually, Nicki, I have the biggest a** I have it, everybody's saying it Nicki, I know they say it's you, but it's me, wop, wop, wop, look at it, look at it, baby.'

The comedian also poked fun at Trump's desire for Greenland after Billie Eilish won 'Song of the Year.'

'Wow. That is a Grammy that every artist wants,' Noah said, 'almost as much as Trump wants Greenland. Which makes sense. I mean, because Epstein's island is gone, he needs a new island to hang out with Bill Clinton.'

While artists were at the Grammys award night, Minaj was tuned in and immediately hit back at the comedian.

The Starships artist turned to X and posted about Trevor, labeling him as 'gay.' She said, 'Trevor refuses to come out the closet when everyone in the industry knows his boyfriend. Allegedly.'

Along with a picture of her wearing a hat that says, 'Nicki is right about everything,' and a picture of Jay-Z.

Minaj's supporters immediately hopped on the post. One said, 'Oop! He a top or bottom?'

'Let's get down to the alleged specifics while we at it 🤭.' Another one said, 'One Nicki never does is tell a lie!'

Some defended Noah and said, 'Stop shaming people based on sexuality.'

Following Minaj's post about Noah, the controversy has since intensified as a TikTok video of him with his alleged boyfriend resurfaced online and went viral

The video was posted by TikTok user @mrnycsubway. The comedian can be seen waiting at the crosswalk with a mystery man when the content creator, who seemed to be a fan, approached and filmed him.

The fan asked, ''Hey, excuse me. Not to interrupt, but are you Trevor Noah?' The comedian nodded, 'Hey, what's up, bro?'

Trevor was about to cross the street with the mystery guy, who they alleged was Noah's boyfriend, and said, 'Good to meet you, dude.'

The man who approached him said, 'You look great. I would approach you, but you're a celebrity.'

As the video continues to circulate and gain traction online, Noah has remained silent amid the noise. To date, he has neither confirmed nor denied the claims made in Minaj's post.
