Singer Rihanna has posed for nude for an Esquire magazine photoshoot.

The Barbados-born Rihanna, 23, is covered in not much more than seaweed to adorn the cover of the men's magazines November edition.

Esquire magazine made her the year's "Sexiest Woman Alive" ahead of 15 other notable beauties including pop rival Beyonce and actress Mila Kunis.

Rihanna has landed her sixth single at the top of the U.K. charts this week with We Found Love, featuring Calvin Harris.
