Rihanna Suffers Wardrobe Malfunction in New York To Support Boyfriend A$AP Rocky's Fashion Show

Rihanna was all support for her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, at the New York debut of his fashion line, AWGE. The 'Diamonds' singer sat front and centre whilst watching the fashion show that was creatively directed by her rapper beau. Following the event, Rihanna told reporters how proud she is of her man. She also described A$AP Rocky as a creative individual and a genius.

As the man behind the fashion line, A$AP Rocky also took a walk at the end of the show and bowed for all his supporters. For the outing, he was photographed wearing a loose white shirt and black baggy trousers. He also had faux fur wrapped over his head and neck. Even though the night was all for A$AP Rocky, his girlfriend made headlines for an entirely different reason.

The singer suffered a wardrobe malfunction even before the fashion show started. Reports published photos of Rihanna with her backside showing as she walked towards the event venue. Since Rihanna donned a black leather outfit with a huge slit on the back, the singer's buttocks showed when she walked.

It seems Rihanna realised what was happening because she immediately fixed her outfit. However, photos of her wardrobe malfunction already circulated online. The wardrobe malfunction also paved the way for the public to see what Rihanna was wearing underneath her leather outfit. The singer paired her attire with lace underwear which matched with her lacy bra.

Wardrobe Malfunction at the Super Bowl

Wardrobe malfunctions are no longer a big deal these days. In fact, Rihanna didn't seem bothered by it because this isn't the first time she suffered one. In 2023, Rihanna made headlines amid reports of a wardrobe malfunction whilst performing at the Super Bowl. During an interview with Access Hollywood, the singer explained that she didn't really have a wardrobe malfunction at the time. Rather, she was trying to conceal her baby bump but couldn't because her outfit just wouldn't zip up.

'Here's the thing. I did what I had to do, right? My jumper couldn't zip up. No one knew I was pregnant. I just told my stylist, "Make sure it's stretchy." So the undergarment was stretchy and this was baggy, but you know, the zip. It just stopped right there! So it had to be what it had to be,' she said.

Eight years ago, Rihanna suffered another wardrobe malfunction that almost left her breasts showing. At the time, the singer was attending the premiere of Ocean's 8, and she was photographed in her stunning gold outfit.
