Ryan Seacrest’s changing look sparks concern online Ryan Seacrest Instagram

Ryan Seacrest has sparked illness rumours online after videos of the television host showed a noticeably slimmer appearance. Fans and social media users have speculated that his extreme weight loss may be a sign of poor health or the result of GLP-1 medication such as Ozempic. The 'Wheel of Fortune' host has not commented publicly on the speculation.

Seacrest is no stranger to health-conscious living. He regularly posts workout videos on his social media accounts and is known for eating healthily, frequently sharing photographs of his meals online. However, recent discussion has centred on the possibility of the presenter joining the growing number of celebrities reported to be using Ozempic. The GLP-1 medication has gained considerable attention in recent years among high-profile figures. It can improve blood sugar levels and result in weight loss, though it is typically prescribed to individuals diagnosed with type 2 diabetes or obesity.

Ryan Seacrest Looks 'Unrecognisable'

A video circulating on Instagram claims that Seacrest has become unrecognisable in recent months. The uploader noted that the host has lost so much weight that he no longer looks the same as fans remember him from television, and drew attention to his eyes appearing much larger, which she attributed to his extreme weight loss.

The Instagram user also compared Seacrest's appearance with that of Simon Cowell, suggesting both personalities appear to have heads disproportionate to their bodies. She added that both men's weight loss may be connected to Ozempic use.

Is He on Ozempic?

Fans who commented on the clip echoed the user's sentiments. Most are convinced that Seacrest's weight loss is the result of the 'American Idol' host taking the GLP-1 medication. Others pointed to similar transformations in Oprah Winfrey and Jim Carrey, arguing that their weight loss had become so extreme as to make them equally unrecognisable.

'Also what happened to Oprah. Even Jim Carrey. So many celebrities changing. Steve Carrell and Jim Carrey are the same age, I found that out yesterday haha,' one person commented.

Weight Loss Sparks Health Concerns

More serious discussions have also been brought to light following the noticeable changes in Seacrest's appearance. Some fans are worried about the television host possibly being unwell, with the wider conversation touching on what many describe as an unhealthy shift in celebrity body standards. One fan likened Seacrest's appearance to that of singer Ariana Grande, describing both as looking noticeably gaunt in recent appearances.

'This is not OK. It's not normal or aspirational. It's not just these three [Kelly Osbourne, Ariana Grande, Demi Moore]. Oprah, Ryan Seacrest, the list goes on and on. Frail and emaciated is not a beauty standard,' another person wrote.

To date, Seacrest has not publicly addressed concerns about his health. He appeared healthy and in good spirits when he celebrated his 50th birthday. 'I feel good because I can't believe I am turning 50. I'm doing everything I can to make myself feel like I'm not 50,' he said. Now 51 years old, Seacrest has also not confirmed whether he has tried Ozempic.
