Nearly seven years after their divorce became official Usher Raymond's ex-wife Tameka has dropped his surname. The stylist and reality star appears to have cut ties with the r'n'b star by reverting back to her maiden name on social media.

Eagle-eyed fans recently noticed that the mother-of-four was no longer using the famous moniker and was now using 'Tameka Foster' as her handle on both Instagram and Twitter. Although she did not reveal the reason for the change, it has been suggested that it could have something to do with the fact that he recently tied the knot with long-term girlfriend and Def Jam executive Grace Miguel.

Back in 2014, Raymond expressed his hopes that his ex-wife will drop his last name once he remarried. "I'll marry again. You know, I don't want to have a harem," the father-of-two told radio star Angie Martinez in an interview on Extra. "So I just hope that when I do, it'll be a departure."

Last September, the Good Kisser hitmaker and Miguel wed in a secret ceremony before jetting off to Havana, Cuba, for their honeymoon. According to Us Weekly, the couple had planned to exchange vows in the presence of 100 guests but decided to elope instead. Although they are yet to confirm their nuptials, they proudly showed off their wedding bands in snaps posted on Instagram.

Usher and Foster exchanged vows in 2007 after two years of dating, but they split just two years later. Their 2009 divorce sparked a bitter custody battle for their sons Usher Raymond V, now aged seven, and Naviyd, six, that lasted three years. The legal battle got ugly and at one point Foster accused Raymond of using his celebrity status as leverage.
