Brad Pitt reportedly won't be reuniting with his children for Thanksgiving. According to a report by Us Weekly, the Allied actor's former wife Angelina Jolie has not invited him over for the festive dinner.

"Angelina did not invite Brad to spend Thanksgiving with their kids," a source told the celebrity news website.

Previously, OK magazine claimed that the couple's 10-year-old daughter Shiloh had begged her parents to come together for Thanksgiving.

"Shiloh has been begging Brad [Pit] and Angelina [Jolie] for weeks to start being nice to each other," a source told the magazine. "Then [Shiloh] sent them both an emotional email asking for the family to spend Thanksgiving together. She let them know that it was what the kids were hoping for," the source added.

The report further had claimed that the 41-year-old actress gave into her daughter's request and had invited her estranged husband over to celebrate the holiday.

"He thanked her for the invitation and she said 'I think it'll be good for us,'" the source said.

The former couple last year enjoyed Thanksgiving as a family with the 52-year-old actor playing the role of the cook.

"We've got Thanksgiving, man — I'm all over that turkey," Pitt told Extra, adding he was the one who cooks during the holidays.

Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt on 19 September, citing irreconcilable differences. The duo got married after meeting on the sets of their movie Mr and Mrs Smith in 2005.
