Day 2 of the Cannes Film Festival and the stars made their glamourous entrances for the premiere of Loveless.

Uma Thurman, Susan Sarandon and Bollywood star Deepika Padukone shared the red carpet with the models of the moment Winnie Harlow, Petra Nemcova, Adriana Lima and Emily Ratajowski.

Channeling the style of the Russian film Emily, 25, took centre stage in a gothic-inspired sheer lace gown from Peter Dundas.

With a cut out breast panel, sheer shoulders and a dramatic tiered skirt, the model made a striking entrance.

In stark contrast, stars such as Adriana Lima kept it simple, opting for a white gown with plunging neckline accessorised with a dazzling choker.
