Cheryl Fernandez-Versini shrugged off her marital woes for a girls' night out to celebrate former bandmate Kimberley Walsh's forthcoming nuptials. Walsh is due to tie the knot with her partner of 11 years, former Triple 8 boy band star Justin Scott in Barbados at the end of January.
As Cheryl headed for London's Cuckoo Club for the hen party, she looked like she didn't have a care in the world and was ready to party the night away with her friends. Showing off her slim figure in a crop top matched with bold leopard print leggings, her husband Jean-Bernard was the last thing on the I Don't Care singer's mind.
Fellow bandmate Nadine Coyle also attended along with actress Kara Tointon and Denise Van Outen, all following the animal print theme. Girls Aloud stars Sarah Harding and Nadine Coyle were both noticeably absent from the pre-wedding fun. Harding is currently in Austria filming The Jump, while Coyle seems to have become distant from her former bandmates since they split.
As for the bride-to-be, Walsh was ready to celebrate before tying the knot to her partner of 14 years, as she donned a reptile print jumpsuit with a daring plunging neckline for a night out with her BFF's.
Cheryl seemed determined to share in her best friend's joy despite her personal heartbreak following the break up of her 19 month marriage to French businessman Jean Bernard.
The Fight for this Love singer reportedly initiated divorce proceedings after an acrimonious relationship with her second husband. On 9 January, the Sunday Mirror reported that the 32-year-old singer has begun formal legal proceedings by filing paperwork, citing "irreconcilable differences" and "unreasonable behavior" as the reason for the split. The newspaper claimed the couple secretly split five months ago. They were last seen together in public at I'm A Celeb hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly's 40th birthday party. It was later rumoured that Cheryl spent the Christmas holidays with her family in her London home, while Jean Bernard was spotted living it up with friends in Miami.
And while the wedding ceremony will undoubtedly recall bitter-sweet memories of her own marriage in Mustique, Cheryl has agreed to be a bridesmaid on Kimberley's big day.
The X Factor judge and fellow bandmate Nicola Roberts will both be supporting Walsh on her big day. A source told The Sun: "Kimberley sorted the date for her wedding ages ago and Cheryl is going to be there to ensure the big day goes to plan. She's played a huge part in the preparations and being involved had at least provided her with a bit of a distraction from her own troubles."
Kimberley and former Triple 8 boy band star Justin, who have one-year-old son Bobby together, are also expected to invite Cheryl and Nicola to join them on honeymoon afterwards.
