I'm A Celebrity
Susannah Constantine is the first to be voted out of the jungle ITV

Susannah Constantine has become the first celebrity to leave the I'm A Celebrity camp during the first public eviction of the 2015 series. The 53-year-old, who is best known as one half of the fashion duo Trinny and Susannah, said she was "gutted" to be leaving the jungle.

"I'm gutted to be the first one out but I'm excited to be going home," she said. Reflecting on her experience she added: "It has been a bitter sweet time. It's been amazing on so many levels and we've made such good friends. It's been so much harder. The hunger. You do get time to relax but you do have a sense of responsibility to do the cooking, the washing, the fire. But Its been incredible. I'm so glad I did it."

All the contestants were up for the vote, apart from Vicky Pattison, George Shelley and Duncan Bannatyne, who won immunity after successfully completing a team challenge. Susannah and Chris Eubank received the fewest votes from the public, but in the final face-off it was Susannah who was given the boot.

The show of course, has been dominated by Lady Colin Campbell, who has been at the centre of the rows between the campmates and a focus of controversy after she refused to do any more bushtucker trials.

Speaking to Ant and Dec after her eviction, Susannah was asked what it was really like to live with Lady C. "Oh poor Lady C, I don't want to single her out, but she's sort of done that herself I guess," she said. "It's like living in a bi-polar atmosphere. She's a very strong personality and she had the ability to bring the camp down or up."

She also said that she would never do a sky dive again, after leaping off a plane into the jungle, adding that it hadn't helped her overcome her fear of heights. "That was possibly the worst experience of my life and I will never do that again for as long as I live," she said. "It was awful, so awful."

I'm A Celebrity ...Get Me Out of Here continues at 9pm on ITV.
