Jennifer Aniston's team has denied claims that the former Friends star and Justin Theroux are about to break up. The rumours surfaced following the announcement that Angelina Jolie will divorce Aniston's ex-husband Brad Pitt.

The latest issue of InTouch Weekly, which correctly reported the end of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's 14-year relationship, carried the sensational headline: "Jennifer and Justin Theroux have split."

The magazine alleges that Aniston has called time on her one-year marriage to Theroux because she is upset at his continued friendship with his ex-girlfriend Heidi Bivens, with whom he was in a relationship for 12 years.

It claims Theroux and Bivens frequently talk on the phone and their closeness has left Jennifer feeling insecure. "They've stayed in contact ever since they broke up," said a source. "Jen hates it. She let him have it, saying it was the last time she ever wanted to hear about that woman."

According to InTouch, the couple's first anniversary celebrations were marred by jealous rows over his ex after Justin returned from Australia where he has been shooting The Leftovers. "They had the fight over Heidi," said a friend of the stars. "By the end of the trip they were barely speaking to each other."

The source claims that Justin feels his friendship with Bivens is entirely innocent and has nothing to hide, even allowing Jennifer to see their text exchanges. "But Jen flies off the handle and says he's obsessed with Heidi," said the insider.

And while his wife is uncomfortable with his communications with his ex, the Zoolander star said he did not want to "ignore" Heidi. "Justin and Heidi are friends, and that's not going to change," added the insider.

Jennifer has been dragged into the public discussion in the wake of Brad and Angelina's split with many citing the breakdown of the relationship as "karma."

Pitt and Aniston, who were married between 2000 and 2005, split when the actor fell for Jolie on the set of the film Mr And Mrs Smith. As she dealt with the breakdown of her marriage, at the time Jennifer criticised Brad for his insensitivity after he appeared on the cover of a magazine playing happy families with Angelina during the promotion for the film.

Jennifer Aniston's rep slammed claims in InTouch magazine that the actress's marriage to Justin Theroux is on the rocks InTouch Magazine

Dubbed the world's most jilted women, the 47-year-old actress later found a new love in 2012 when she met Justin on the set of Wanderlust. He left his long-term girlfriend Bivens to embark on a romance with Jennifer.

And while the couple seems to be going strong, the magazine claims that the actress remains plagued by insecurity and trust issues after Brad walked out on her. "Jen lives in constant fear that Justin is going to run off with another woman and leave her heartbroken like Brad did,"' said a source.

The publication adds that the three-month separation due to Justin's filming commitments in Australia has contributed to the distance between the pair. "This is a make or break time for the relationship," it added.

Responding to the InTouch cover story Aniston's rep told DailyMail.com the magazine's new report is "a complete fabrication" and that the 47-year-old has no plans to split from her 45-year-old husband of one year.
