Kim Kardashian has confessed to badgering her younger sister Khloe to be a surrogate mother for her and husband Kanye West's longed-for third child after being told that she would not be able to give birth to another baby naturally.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, 36, has spoken openly in the past about the complications she experienced when giving birth to daughter North, three, and one-year-old son Saint, with doctors recently confirming that her body would not be able to go take the toll again.

Speaking during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, the reality TV favourite said: "I have had to go through multiple things to try and do it on my own but I do not think that is looking good for me but I am not giving up.

"So it is a process. You kind of see the whole thing on this next season of our show, of me begging Khloe to help out, but I do not want to do that to her."

She also revealed that both her mother Kris Jenner, 61, and older sister Kourtney, 38, had offered to step in.

Kim suffered with placenta accreta during both of her pregnancies. The rare and potentially life-threatening medical condition sees the placenta abnormally attach to the uterine wall.

Despite recently being seen on an episode of her hit E! TV series undergoing surgery in an attempt to fix the damage caused to her body, the dark-haired beauty suffered complications meaning it was unsuccessful.

Kim previously said that she did not want any more children after Saint, however, she had a change of heart after being robbed at gunpoint in Paris last year.

She said another factor for wanting to expand her brood came down to growing up in a big family herself, explaining: "If for some reason I left this earth sooner than I really wanted to then my kids would have a support system so that I would know it would be okay if I was not here."
