Kimberley Walsh and Justin Scott have shared details of their lavish Barbados wedding with HELLO! Magazine. After 14 years together, the couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony at St James Parish Church in Holetown in the presence of close friends and family.
While the wedding has been shrouded in secrecy, in exclusive images the bride's wedding dress is revealed as she poses with her bridesmaids, best friends and former Girls Aloud bandmates Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Nicola Roberts.
"This wedding, being surrounded by the people we love, has been everything we hoped it would be and so much more," Kimberley told HELLO! "I would do anything to be able to turn back the clock and start it all over again. There's so much we haven't been able to take in, but I'm sure we'll spend our whole honeymoon reliving it. It's a day we will cherish for the rest of our lives."
Justin added: "I guess, in a way, Kimberley and I were already living a married life in terms of our commitment to one another. The wedding has been a formality, but why should we miss out on a celebration just because we've stood the test of time? It's something to celebrate in itself."
Kimberley walked down the aisle in an exquisite bespoke lace and silk gown by Berta Bridal from exclusive London stockists The Wedding Club.
Describing seeing his bride Justin said: "I couldn't wait to see her. Although I quickly realised I was in the doghouse even before we were husband and wife when her first words to me at the altar were, 'Why didn't you turn round?'," he said, explaining that the minister had told him not to. "When I did, thought ... wow. She just looked incredible; more gorgeous than I've ever seen her."
Best friend Cheryl, who is seen wearing an elegant strapless bronze dress, with thigh high split, said Kimberley was every inch the blushing beautiful bride on her big day. "The only way I could describe her is breathtaking. She literally took my breath away. I have seen Kimberley in so many beautiful outfits and with gorgeous hair and make-up over the years, but this was on another level. And her beauty was coming from the inside out."
"To watch your best friend marry the love of her life and having experienced their relationship flourish over so many years is something I have never experienced before,"Cheryl told HELLO!. "It's meant the world to me to be a part of their special day and I wish them all the love and happiness in the world because nobody deserves it more."
After exchanging vows the couple and their 16-month-old son Bobby celebrated with guests including Denise Van Outen and Kara Tointon.
