Meghan Markle made her first official appearance with Prince Harry as she attended an exclusive polo event in Ascot on Saturday (6 May).

The Suits actress, who was standing in the royal box, looked delighted as she watched her boyfriend of ten months playing polo at the Coworth Park polo club in Berkshire.

The 35-year-old was dressed for the occasion in a navy asymmetric dress by Antonio Berardi matched with a white blazer.

The Duke of Cambridge also arrived to join in the sporting fun at the VIP event, which attracted a host of celebrities including Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne, dancer Darcey Bussell and actor Matt Smith.

Meghan's attendance at the high society event has further fueled speculation that the royal romance is going strong and the actress is being assimilated into Harry's high-profile life.

As their romance hots up, the couple have been enjoying a series of public dates and holidays together. In March Meghan accompanied her boyfriend to the wedding of his best friend Tom Inskip in Jamaica which she was introduced to the royal's inner circle.

According to Mail Online, the actress's latest public outing comes amid rumours that she is due to accompany Prince Harry to Pippa Middleton's wedding on May 20 after clearing her work schedule for a week, enabling her to attend the ceremony and the reception.

Meanwhile, it was recently reported that Meghan is planning to give up acting to focus on her philanthropy and has closed down her social media sites and her lifestyle blog The Tig as she prepares for royal life.
