Thor: Ragnarok has officially wrapped production, with director Taika Waititi sharing a behind-the-scenes video on Facebook to commemorate their final day on set Marvel Studios

Thor: Ragnarok has officially wrapped production down under. And to celebrate the occasion, filmmaker Taika Waititi took to Marvel Studios' official Facebook page to take part in an impromptu live broadcast which took watching fans on a tour of the set in Queensland, Australia.

After a short while of walking around the set, showing fans areas that the crew have built specifically for the film including a space-inspired wasteland, Waititi bumps into stars Tessa Thompson and Chris Hemsworth who join him for some of the behind-the-scenes video. During the clip, Waititi teased that filming Ragnarok was the "one of the most terrible experiences of [his] life" while Hemsworth and Thompson responded with straight-faces: "Same."

The Australian actor then went on to joke that the movie "will be available on VHS, but there's only going to be one copy though" so fans will have to share it around. "Rentals, I think, are about 50 bucks," he continued.

It wasn't all silly fun-and-games from the cast and their director however, the threesome actually revealed some interesting tidbits about Ragnarok too, revealing that character Miek – from the Planet Hulk comic series – is going to appear. In the source material, Miek is an alien who teams with the Hulk to overthrow a totalitarian organisation that forces slaves to fight gladiator-like battles.

That’s a wrap here on the set of Thor: Ragnarok with director Taika Watiti, Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson.

In the stream, Hemsworth can be seen wearing a tank-top with 'LIVIN' written on it, marking the second time he's donned this brand on the Thor 3 set. Manufactured by the Living Charity, which focuses on mental health and suicide prevention, he was previously spotted wearing a grey hoodie with the same logo on it back in August. Waititi's tee also caught the eyes of fans too, depicting an illustration of Thor's hammer Mjolnir.

Thompson's look in the video is also worth taking note of. The Creed actor plays Valkyrie, a warrior woman from Valhalla in the upcoming sequel and despite the character being a blonde-haired, caped Norse goddess in the comics, Marvel fans have previously been told to expect Thompson to resemble more of a "Native American warrior". It certainly looks that way from the white make-up on her face.

Also starring Idris Elba, Mark Ruffalo, Jeff Goldblum, Karl Urban, Tom Hiddleston and Cate Blanchett, Thor: Ragnarok is scheduled to reach UK cinemas on 27 October 2017 and US big screens on 3 November.
