Hollywood heartthrob Robert Pattinson has been rumoured to be going out with artist Nettie Wakefield, with several insiders suggesting that he is dating her.

They couple have also been spotted together of late.

"They were very touchy-feely. They were trying to keep a low profile but Rob teased Nettie by messing with her hair and they had a flirty play fight," a source told The Sun.

"Afterwards they were giggling like teenagers," the source added.

"Rob spent some time with Nettie Wakefield over the holidays in London. She's an incredible contemporary artist, known for her portrait drawings," an insider told HollywoodLife.

"Rob and Kristen are both collectors of her work. It wouldn't surprise me if Rob was commissioning her to do something cool for Kristen as a Christmas or New Year's gift," the source added.

This source also stated that Wakefield was only a dear friend.

"Rob and Kristen have very similar tastes when it comes to artwork and Nettie is also a very dear friend," the source explained.

Ever since he split up with Kristen Stewart, Pattinson has been linked to a number of ladies including Elvis Presley's granddaughter Riley Keough, Fast and Furious actress Michelle Rodriguez, pop star Katy Perry and his co-star in the Dior ad, model Camille Rowe.

Pattinson and Kristen Stewart split a second time after she got back in touch with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.

All hell reportedly broke loose between the perfect pair last year when Stewart confessed to having an affair with Sanders behind Pattinson's back. She later apologised.

Of late, there has been a lot of speculation about Pattinson and Stewart's relationship status. The couple was spotted together on several occasions and much has been said about their reunion.

They were supposed to ring in the New Year together on the Isle of Wight.

While there has been intense speculation on his personal life, on the professional front things look good for Pattinson. He will star in a new drama titled The Childhood of a Leader. It is directed by Brady Corbet and stars Juliette Binoche and Tim Roth.

The plot focuses on the childhood of a post-World War I leader. It is tentatively scheduled to shoot in Europe starting in May.

Stewart has also landed one of the best deals of her career as the new face of Chanel.
