Cheryl Cole has reportedly filed for legal action against a magazine over claims made by MC Harvey that they shared a secret romance.
The 28-year-old Girls Aloud star has turned to her lawyers following the publication of an article in Now! magazine that alleged she had a secret tryst with the So Solid Crew MC after she split from ex-husband Ashley Cole.
The rapper, who famously cheated on his former wife Alesha Dixon with Javine five years ago, even claimed in the interview that he considered marrying Cheryl.
After the interview was published, Cole took to Twitter to lambast Harvey and deny his claims.
During the Twitter battle that followed Harvey, the 32-year-old 21 Seconds star, alleged he had evidence of a relationship.
"Do you want me to tweet some of the messages you emailed me? @cherylcole pipe down and stop playing the saint in front of your fans," he tweeted.
"I don't need no hype of you! I'd rather go broke and work in Sainsbury's than talk about your personal s**t," he later added.
Cole has instructed her lawyers to take action against him.
