Sanders speaks exclusively to IBTimes UK about how temporary contractors are helping businesses grow

Britain's job market had undergone a radical transformation after hundreds of thousands of jobs were lost following credit crunch and sovereign debt crisis.

Speaking exclusively to IBTimes UK on camera, de Poel chief executive Matthew Sanders says that temporary contract work is helping people find work, businesses expand, and give companies the flexibility to "man-up or man-down" if times get tough again.

Meanwhile, Sanders said that worker procurement firm de Poel has to regularly go abroad to find workers to plug a severe skills gap in industries such as tech.

de Poel is the biggest procurer of temporary agency labour outside the NHS. It works with FTSE businesses that spend £3m+ a year on temporary workers to help curb their costs and give them more control and visibility.

He says that without a foreign born workforce many companies would not be able to grow.
