Eight people have reportedly been arrested over the fatal shooting of 8 year old South London British schoolgirl Imani Green in Jamaica.

Sadly Imani who suffered from sickle cell anaemia, was on holiday visiting relatives in Trelawny trying to get some winter sun to help her illness, when she was shot in the head and shoulder while visiting a local shop. There is speculation it is a revenge gangland style attack. Although this hasn't been confirmed. Three others were also seriously injured in the attack.

A police officer from Jamaica's police force, said: "they are searching for a motive for the attack and are looking at all the leads that we are getting."

The area little Imani was shot in, is known as a quiet backwater style region and this attack the first of its kind has shocked the local residents.
