Kristen Stewart, in an interview, opened up about her relationship with her former co-star Robert Pattinson. The 29-year-old actress remembers how she was once told if she hid her sexuality, she could land a Marvel film.

In an interview with Harper's Bazaar, Kristen Stewart opened about her past experience and how she has changed from her former self. The Twilight star says she tried to avoid the word "awkward" because it was violently used against her. The star is making a return to mainstream movies with her upcoming "Charlie's Angels" directed by Elizabeth Banks.

Stewart remembered the time when both she and her former co-star Robert Pattinson would sit for an interview and would be scared of the questions that would be coming up. They refused to discuss their relationship in public. Most of the time, Stewart wanted to run away.

"When me and Rob were together, we did not have an example to go by, So much was taken from us that, in trying to control one aspect, we were just like, 'No, we will never talk about it. Never. Because it's ours,'" she said.

After the "Twilight Saga" she chose very different kinds of film which she called, "the most random game of hopscotch". She was more comfortable working with her friends than big names. She said that she didn't mind making, "weird, risky mistakes".

Speaking about fame, she said that people get mad at a person when he or she is at a high position. The "Panic Room" actress added if "you don't hold that up, you don't deserve it." Stewart said she isn't the one who is crazy about fame, rather more interested in doing her job.

She also recalled the time when she was told not to hold her girlfriend's hand in public or else she won't get a Marvel movie. The actress added how there are many people who don't like the fact that she was dating a girl, and that she didn't identify herself as a "lesbian" or a "heterosexual".

Stewart who is reportedly back together with her model girlfriend Stella Maxwell said that people were interested to know about her sexual affiliations. She believed that now people have accepted her ambiguous sexuality.

The Personal Shopper actress said now people were interested in making movies about her "undefined sexuality". Stewart admitted that every day as she got older, life for her has become easy.
