The London College of Fashion will open its first ever shop in September, inviting fashion fans to discover the work of its alumni.

Called the COLLEGE SHOP, it will be the first ever pop up retail space in the heart of the West End; located in Kingly Court, stocked with exclusive pieces.

Launching on Thursday 8 September 2011, in the lead up to London Fashion Week, it will run for just three weeks, stocking unique and one-off creations by its legion of multi-talented alumni.

Shoppers will be able to pick luxury, affordable pieces by future design stars and from talked-about London names including William Tempest, Ada Zanditon and Beatrice Boyle will sit alongside one-off pieces from recent womenswear, footwear and accessories graduates.

"I wanted to be part of the store to help shine a light on the amazing amount of talent that LCF produces, not only in design but also in photography, illustration and footwear," Tempest told Elle.

The designer, whose fashionable vision has been embraced by Emma Watson, Kate Moss and Alexa Chung, contributed a biker jacket and a coat made out of floral tapestry fabric of his own design.

Clients will also be able to browse the digital catalogue for further items of interest and arrange private appointments

"Retail and show space is hard to find for designers who are just starting out, so the store will help to help give the designers the platform to showcase their work" he added.

Prices will range from £20 to more than £400. In keeping with the boutique gallery setting, each piece will be signed by the designer and issued with a statement of authenticity.

Also on sale will be exclusive branded COLLLEGE SHOP organic cotton canvas bags (free with purchases over £50), the new issue of P&P LCF's exclusive magazine, oyster card holders and postcards designed by Fashion Illustration stars Beatrice Boyle and Noro Kim - starting at just £5these limited edition pieces will provide fantastic presents and collectible mementos.

The shop, located just off Carnaby Street in London's Kingly Court, will run for two and a half weeks from Friday 9 September.
