In a follow-up post, Minaj divided groups into two categories, describing one as speaking 'doom over the people' and another as speaking 'life into the people'.

She questioned which group people would want to belong to, while criticising those who portray the more optimistic group as 'miserable'. Minaj then accused an unnamed group of focusing on attacks against people who had already left rather than examining why they were losing influential figures.

She used the idea of 'mirrors' to argue that attacking those who expose uncomfortable truths allows the group to avoid confronting itself.
