After the pick of today's football transfer rumours from Real Madrid it is clear the players will be leaving the Bernabeu this summer. Will there be a mass exodus from Real Madrid to fund investment in other players? Here are the latest transfer rumours involving exits from the Spanish giants including Lassana Diarra's emission from Real Madrid's preseason tour of the U.S , Kaka's proposed move to Chelsea and the sensational reports that Gonzalo Higuain or Karim Benzema could be sold to Manchester City.

Reports today have confirmed that Lassana Diarra has been left out of Jose Mourinho's 25 man squad for Real Madrid's preseason tour of the United States. The Washington Post reports that Jose Mourinho named his squad and decided to omit Lassana Diarra from it so Diarra can decide on his own future at the club. It was believed that Diarra was willing to stay and fight for his place in the side but it now seems as though his time at the club is over.

The news will interest Manchester United who are said to be keen on the French midfielder but are now set to face competition from Italian giants Juventus for a player who is deemed surplus to requirements at the Bernabeu.

The Metro claims that Chelsea and Inter Milan are ready to make offers for Brazilian midfielder Kaka. Although Kaka has insisted that he wants to stay at the Bernabeu, he has fallen down the pecking order and if Real Madrid accepts an offer for the player he may decide to end his stay in Spain. It is thought that Inter Milan have already had a £27m bid rejected for the player but are ready to increase their offer. Chelsea are said to be considering a bid for Kaka as their efforts to sign Tottenham's Luka Modric continue to stall.

Reports in today's Mirror claim that Real Madrid are willing to allow either Karim Benzema or Gonzalo Higuain to leave the club in a swap deal that would see Manchester City captain Carlos Tevez move to the Spanish capital. The Spanish giants have reportedly offered both players to Manchester City plus £25m which in a combined deal would make the transfer worth around £50m - the price Manchester City value Tevez at.

Tentative discussions have opened between the two clubs with Jose Mourinho willing to allow either if not both to join Manchester City. Jose Mourinho is concerned the Gonzalo Higuain will not be the same player he was after his injury problems last year and after a year monitoring Karim Benzema, he has been less than impressed. Real Madrid are said to be willing to offload one or two of these players to invest further in their squad to compete with Barcelona both domestically and in Europe.
