Robert Pattinson has admitted he was embarrassed when he kissed French model Camille Rowe in the new advert for Dior Homme.
However the Twilight star has revealed he wants a French girlfriend after spending time with Rowe - and sharing a passionate kiss with her.
"When everybody was watching the footage of the kissing scene, I was already embarrassed," Pattinson told Le Figaro magazine.
"Suddenly, Camille said 'Oh la la!' I glared at her and told her 'Are you kidding me?' I thought that the British would say 'Oh la la!' as a way to make fun of the French. I didn't think that French women would say it for real. Then I realised that I would like to have a French girlfriend," he added.
Despite the embarrassment, Pattinson says the kiss was a fun experience - and insisted Rowe was not intimidated by the experience.
"No, I don't think [Rowe was intimidated]. If she was, she certainly didn't show it to me," Pattinson told GQ Spain.
"If you have to kiss someone who you don't know and the person keeps their distance or backs off, it's horrible."
Meanwhile, the house of Dior is said to be very thrilled with the ad.
"It's the talk of the fashion world right now and has been one of the most eagerly awaited adverts for years," a source told The Mirror early this year.
The 27-year-old Pattinson has also stated that he enjoyed working for Dior and that it just felt right.
"Before, I was so obsessed with thinking, 'People are going to think you're a sell out.' And now, of course, every single actor in the world has done one. In the past I always said no to everything; I thought I'd be judged for it. Dior came up and it felt right. It was a big decision. I've turned down plenty of others at the last minute before," he said.
